The children were excited, but Mum was hot and Dad was cross.

Christmas was a hard work.

Dad and Mum had to cook a lot.

They had to decorate the house.

And they had to prepare presents for the children.

“Christmas is hard work,” said Dad.

圣誕節(jié)在西方可不亞于我們的過新年。在美國，圣誕節(jié)法定假期是1天半，12月24日的下午和12月25日的全天。不過美國圣誕節(jié)和元旦總是會連在一起放，所以美國圣誕元旦放假時間從12月22日開始到2020年1月5日結(jié)束。

所以，西方的圣誕節(jié)我們中國的過年一樣 Its a hard work.

The F means father.

The children were disappointed.

“It’s not fair,” said Chip. “I wanted to ask Father Christmas for a computer.”
