A Shenzhou spacecraft carrying three astronauts landed safely in northern Chinas Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region on Friday (April 15) just before 10 p.m. EDT (0200 GMT), about 9 hours after departing from the core Tianhe module of the countrys new Tiangong space station. It was Saturday morning (April 16) local time at the landing site.

一艘載有三名宇航員的神舟飛船于美國東部時(shí)間周五（4月15日）晚上10點(diǎn)（格林尼治本準(zhǔn)時(shí)間2點(diǎn)）前在中國北部的內(nèi)蒙古自治區(qū)平安著陸，9小時(shí)前，飛船從中國新天宮空間站的天和中心艙動(dòng)身。飛船著陸時(shí)，當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間為周六（4月16日）上午。

The touchdown wrapped upthe Shenzhou 13 mission, which spent a national-record six months in orbit, the vast majority of it aboard Tianhe. The longest previous Chinese crewed mission was Shenzhou 12, which sent three astronauts to the nascent station for 92 days last year.

Shortly after landing, all three astronauts radioed that they were feeling fine after their long space mission, prompting applausefrom the China National Space Administrations mission control center in Beijing.

Shenzhou 13 set other national marks as well. For example, the missions Wang Yaping became the first woman to live aboard Tianhe and the first Chinese woman ever to conduct a spacewalk.

Wang was joined on Shenzhou 13 by Ye Guangfu and Zhai Zhigang, who commanded the mission. The trio lifted off on Oct. 15, rising off a pad at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi Desert.

王亞平在神舟十三號上與葉光富和翟志剛一同，指揮了這次任務(wù)。三人于10月15日，由戈壁灘上的酒泉衛(wèi)星發(fā)射中心平臺(tái)發(fā)射升空。

Zhai, Wang and Ye were very busy during their six months in orbit. The astronauts — or taikonauts, as Chinese spaceflyers are called — performed two spacewalks, conducted more than 20 different science experiments and delivered two live educational lectures from Tianhe.

翟志剛、王亞平和葉光富在飛船處于運(yùn)轉(zhuǎn)軌道上的六個(gè)月里十分繁忙。這些宇航員——或taikonauts，中國航天員特有的稱謂——實(shí)行了兩次太空行走，實(shí)行了20多項(xiàng)不同的科學(xué)實(shí)驗(yàn)，并在天和中心艙實(shí)行了兩次現(xiàn)場教育講座。

Shenzhou 13 was the second crewedmission to Tianhe, which launched to low Earth orbit in April 2021. The first was Shenzhou 12, which lifted off in June 2021 and landed that October.

The Shenzhou 13 crew also spent some time getting Tianhe ready for its next round of visitors, which will arrive relatively soon; the Shenzhou 14 mission is expected to launch in early June.
