Biff, Wilma and Anneena went to the pantomime with Wilmas mum.
The pantomime was about Robin Hood.
Robin Hood was a good man.
He lived in a wood with his men.
There was a bad man called the Sheriff.
Nobody liked the Sheriff.
He wanted to catch Robin Hood and lock him up.
The next day,Wilma and Anneena went to play with Biff.
They sang a song about Robin Hood.
But Kipper didnt like the song.
Kipper had the magic key round his neck.
The magic took the children to a wood.
They saw Robin with some of his men.
The children sat by the fire.
They sang a song about Robin Hood.
Kipper didnt like the song.
Kipper looked inside a big black pot.
Nobody saw the Sheriff coming.
Would the Sheriff lock up the Robin?
What would happen next?
Lets open the book and read the story together.
Turn to page 14
Suddenly the Sheriffs men ran in.
They grabbed Robin Hood and put a rope round him.
Got you at last! said the Sheriff.
grabbed 就是 “抓住”
Got you!就是 “抓到你了” 的意思
at last 終于
突然,Sheriff 的手下跑了進(jìn)來(lái)。
他們抓住羅賓漢,把他圍了起來(lái)。

They jumped on Robins men and they grabbed Biff,Wilma,and Anneena.

They put them all into a cart.

Take them away! said the Sheriff.
“帶走他們!” Sheriff 說(shuō)。
Oh wait!
Not all of them.
Who was not in the cart?
Yes! Kipper!
But where was Kipper?

Kipper hid in the big black pot.
So, The Sheriffs men didnt see him.
Kipper 躲在那個(gè)大黑灌里。

Kipper was lucky to be escaped from being caught.
He saw everything.
What would he do?

The Sheriff took them to a village.

He said, "My castle is too far away,
so we will stop here.

Kipper hid behind the lodge.
The children,Robin and his men were locked.
The guard was strong.

Kipper went up to the man.
He gave the man a sweet.
Kipper 走到那人跟前。

指著旁邊的那個(gè)東西,問(wèn)道:
What is that thing? he asked.
You lock people up in it, said the man.
那個(gè)人回答:“你可以把人關(guān)在里面...”
You cant lock people in that, said Kipper.
You cant get them in.
Kipper 說(shuō):“你不可能把人鎖在里面,你沒(méi)法讓他們進(jìn)去啊。”
What did the men say?
‘Oh yes you can, said the man.
and he showed Kipper how to do with it.
Look. He put in his head and his hands.
“哦,是的,你可以,”那人說(shuō)。
“他把他的頭和手放在他的頭上?!?/p>

Kipper grined.
Ha! said Kipper.You fell for it.
You fell for it. 在這里是 “你上當(dāng)了!” 的意思。
Kipper 壞壞一笑,說(shuō):哈哈,你上當(dāng)了!
He locked the man in and took away his keys.
Kipper 把那個(gè)人鎖了起來(lái),并拿走了他的鑰匙。
Grrr! said the man.
“啊!” 那人說(shuō)。
Great job!
Kipper,youre so smart!
Kipper set them free.
set free 就是 “釋放” 的意思
Kipper 把大家都放了。
Come on,everyone, said Robin Hood.
Lets go back to the woods.
We dont want the Sheriff to catch us.
羅賓漢說(shuō):“來(lái)吧,大家。我們回到樹(shù)林里去吧。”
我們不想讓 Sheriff 抓到我們。
Everyone was happy.
Horray! Were free now!
Thank you, Kipper!
But The Sheriffs man was cross.

Three cheers for Kipper, said Robin Hood.
羅賓漢說(shuō):“為 Kipper 歡呼!”

Now lets sing that song about me again.
Oh no! said Kipper.

Goodbye, said the children.
Goodbye, said Robin Hood,and thanks.

Why did Kipper say "Just in time" when the key started to glow?
Because he didnt like the song.
He didnt want to hear it again.
The key could take him back home.
At last, Lets think about that.
Does the story make Robin Hood out to be a hero?
No, it doesnt.
Who saved Robin and all his men?
Yes, Kipper!
Kipper was the hero in this story!

It was the magic key.

Suddenly the key began to glow.
Look out Anneena, said Biff.
This is a magic key and the magic isworking.
Its time for an adventure.
