The Northman is expected to be as nightmarish as its predecessors, and its setting – the snowy forests and craggy beaches of 10th century Iceland – seems to echo the secluded woods of The Witch and the windswept coastlines in The Lighthouse.

They’ve been best friends since they were kids, and they live in the same building.
