Kipper was watching television.

He was watching a programme called The angry giant.

The angry giant lived in a castle near a village.

Nobody in the village liked him.

Kipper went to find Chip and Biff but they were out.

He picked up the magic key and it began to glow.

The magic took Kipper to the gate of the giants castle.

He didnt want to meet the giant,so he went to the village.

The village was tiny. Kipper was a giant.

The village people didnt like him.

They threw things at Kipper and let him go away.

Kipper began to cry. Im not a giant, he said.

At last, the people said,

Perhaps he is a little boy but he looks like a giant to us.

Perhaps he can help us.

What would happen next?

What could Kipper do for the villagers?

Kipper helped the villagers to mend their houses.

Kipper幫助村民修好了他們的房子。

He put back the broken roofs.

他把破掉了的屋頂修好放回原位。

Who broke the roofs?

The angry giant.

Who mended the roofs?

Kipper the giant.

Why could Kipper do it?

What advantage did he have over them?

Kipper was taller and stronger than the villagers.

Good old Kipper, everyone said.

Why did the villagers say "Good old Kipper"?

Because Kipper helped them a lot.

How did Kipper feel now?

He was happy now.

It felt good to be helpful.

The giant threw this big stone at us, said the people.

“巨人曾經(jīng)朝我們?nèi)恿艘粔K大石頭,”村民們說(shuō)。

We dont want it here,can you put it outside the village?

我們想把它搬走,你能幫我們嗎?”

Can Kipper carry it?

He picked up the stone and took it outside the village.

Good old Kipper! everyone called.

都叫他 Good old Kipper!

看來(lái),Kipper 已經(jīng)成為村民們的朋友了。

All the people liked Kipper.

所有人都喜歡 Kipper。

Thank you, they said.You have helped us a lot.

“謝謝你,你幫了我們大忙了。”人們說(shuō)。

The village band played for him.

村里的樂(lè)隊(duì)也為 Kipper 演奏起來(lái)。

The village learned that the giant could be good too.

The giant came back.

He was very angry when he saw Kipper in the village.

Why was the giant very angry?

Im the giant here, he shouted.

He ran towards the village.

Crash! He fell over the stone.

The box turned end for end as it fell, and everything spilled out.

The people were frightened but Kipper went to help the giant.

He picked up the giants things and put a bandage round his head.

Kipper was not only kind to the villagers.

Kipper was kind to the giant too.

He helped the giant.

Kipper was bigger than the giant.

Kipper 比巨人還要大。

Be a good giant, said Kipper.

“做一個(gè)好的巨人吧!”Kipper說(shuō)。

Stop being angry and the people will like you.

“不要生氣了,村民們就會(huì)喜歡你?!?/p>

The giant cried.

He might think that Kipper was bigger, but he was kind.

Everyone liked him.

He was sorry for what he did.

So the giant stopped being angry.

Ill try to be good, he said.

Hooray! shouted the people.Lets have a party!

The giant was a good giant now.

He cut his food into piece and shared them to the villagers.

The key began to glow.

Its time for me to go now, said Kipper.

“我該走了。”Kipper說(shuō)。

Goodbye. Thank you for the party.

Stop it, shouted Kipper.

Im not a giant, Im a boy.

The people said, Well, you look like a giant.

Kipper began to cry.

Im not a giant, he said.

“我不是巨人,”他說(shuō),

Im a little boy and I dont like this adventure.

Giants dont cry, said the people.

“巨人是不會(huì)哭的”,村民們說(shuō)。

Perhaps he is a little boy but he looks like a giant to us.

Perhaps he can help us.

Kipper helped the villagers to mend their houses.
