你知道嗎？今天，5月8日，除了是母親節(jié)之外，還是一個特殊的節(jié)日，那就是世界微笑日。
它的英文表達是：World Smile Day。
有一種說法是，5月8日是國際紅十字會創(chuàng)始人亨利·杜南的生日，所以，從1948年開始，國際紅十字會規(guī)定將這一點定為世界紅十字日，也即“世界微笑日”。
所以各位童鞋們，今天一定要獎勵自己一個大大的微笑哦！
不過，有一個問題來了，是不是很多人看到“笑”這個詞，第一反應出來的英文都是smile？
其實，smile是一個概括性的表述（general term），可以表達各種心情愉悅的笑容。注意，它只表達面部表情（facial expression），不包括笑聲（vocal expression）。
